We've really been feeling the love of our wonderful community and want to show our gratitude. If you're a CSA member, work for a local business that supports us, or are a farmers market customer of ours, join us for an evening of fun and food. It's totally free of charge! There's going to be a pig roast as well as a bunch of vegan options, silent movies scrolling in the barn, foolish games for kids and adults, and all in all, a good time to be had together in beautiful May.
Families are most welcome. This event, like farming, will take place rain or shine, but there’s a big barn for cover if the weather’s not good. Please dress for the forecast and wear comfortable shoes you won’t mind getting dirty. For your comfort, you might want to bring a folding chair or blanket, but if you’re not too particular we’ll have an assortment of things to sit on. No need to bring a dish to pass, this is supposed to be our thank you to you! However, to cut down on trash we would like to ask you to please bring your own dishes and place-settings, if possible.
Event parking is on the north side of M-32, on the dirt road side of Adams Road. Please, no dogs. We're OK with people bringing their own drinks as long as you're respectful of the fact that this is a wholesome, all-ages event.
Looking to make a day of it? Raven Hill Discovery Center is offering a Free Second Saturday event from noon to 4 pm on the same day of the party. You could also take your crew to hike Deadman's Hill or rent a canoe nearby for a trip on the Jordan River or see what's on exhibit at the Jordan River Arts Council and Martha Wagbo Farm & Education Center.
